Jordy and I were able to get away for a long weekend to visit the Wiederspans in Colorado. They did such a great job of showing us around and keeping us busy so we didn't miss Jolie too much. We already miss them so much!
When we got in, we went to dinner at
Steuben's in Denver then we went to a Rockies game. We had such amazing seats and the stadium was super cool.
The next day we went hiking in Estes Park. It was like a postcard...so beautiful! We hiked up to a lake, then on the way back we saw rapids and a deer.
Later that night we went to a delicious bbq place called Nordy's.
Melissa of course found a yummy cupcake place for us to try out :)
Then the guys played ping pong and pool.
The next day we went to a super fun water park and then to Boulder for a delicious Italian dinner. I got the best marsala pasta dish I have ever had...it may just be the dish I would request as my last meal!
Our last morning together we got cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Later we drove by the stinkiest sheep in the world on our way to a town called Ault (a unique little town). In Ault we got to see where Casey works and we got Krautburgers.

I loved that pasta jays would be your last meal! That's awesome!! ...and I can just hear you and Jordy now as we drove through sheep ville....that was hilarious!!
