Camping

We went camping the weekend before Thanksgiving with my parents at Carlsbad State Beach.  The first night was pretty freezing and even a little rainy, but Jolie still wanted to tent camp since she had never done it before.  We found a nice little nook to set up our tent in to shelter us from the wind.  Bear Grylls would have been proud of us!

Jolie and I stayed warm in the tent while Jordy set up a fire for us.

Jolie was the first to spot this beautiful rainbow!

My parents decided they were too old for tent camping and rented this trailer.  It was pretty nice and definitely a good way to "camp"!

After the storm cleared up there was a beautiful sunset.

Saturday morning was beautiful!

We went for a walk along the beach.

Jolie and Grams made Crazy Loom bracelets.

Jordy and my dad went surfing and the water looked perfect.  Unfortunately my dad got stung by a stingray and it ended up being pretty serious.  He was in a ton of pain for over a week and had an allergic reaction.

S'more time:

The trailer was nice having a kitchen and bathroom right there, but Jolie still loved the tent!

Getting in a little baseball practice:

The second night we decided to stay in the trailer.  Jordy and Jolie got the bunk beds and I got the couch.
