Partial Kitchen Demo

Our friends ripped out cabinets in their kitchen and it really opened it up and made it look so much better so....that inspired us to do the same.  We were worried about not having enough storage space, but we made it work by adding some open shelving and getting rid of a bunch of stuff we never use.

Before:

We got in a little over our heads, so we had to call my parents to see if they would help us carry the cabinets outside :)  Thanks Mom and Dad!

Jo couldn't take a nap with all that pounding, so she asked to rest while she watched us work.

After:  Fresh paint, open shelves, new light fixture, and no ugly cabinets
